I know every business strives for a 5 star rating, with all the competition, along with how a single "less than 5 star" review can negatively effect a hard working company. If I could PAY my OWN money to give American Dream Movers an extra star or two, I'd reach into my wallet and gladly pony up the cash.

We had a difficult time nailing down an actual moving date - our buyer was getting the runaround from their mortgage company - so the date changed over the course of 3 weeks, the weeks that lead up to Xmas. As we prepped to move, I figured out that a little manpower would really help in moving items from the basement to the packing pods. I was lucky enough to have American Dream recommended for the move itself. I asked the owner if he could help with a couple of guys to help move boxes, etc. Not packing, and not the move itself, just some helping hands that didn't mind the grunt work. No problem, and a couple of days in a row, some capable guys came to the house and helped clear out an 1800 sq ft basement that was chock full of boxes, all for a reasonable price. I was able to point out what I needed, and they got to it. It freed us up to continue packing in other parts of the house.

On a different day, as we thought we were getting closer to an actual moving date, we had a crew come over and empty the backyard yard and 2-car garage. This time, it was a combination of packing pod and dumpster. The guys were patient, and again, helpful, as we indicated "keep" (Pod) or "toss" (dumpster!). They stuck with us, did all the heavy lifting, and it made moving day itself a simpler task.

As for that moving day, American Dream saved the day (or should I say date, and really, several dates). This was above and beyond - they have a business to run, and a schedule of other customers that didn't need to revolve around our craziness, and yet, throughout the these unforeseen circumstances, they continued to be flexible, helpful, always courteous, and what was supposed to be an early to mid-December moved finally happened on December 22.

Everything was in order, they were prompt, respectful of our homes and items, and without exaggeration, we changed this date 3 or 4 times and they rolled with it (even helped us save money with their scheduling flexibility), and even when their owner went on a planned family vacation, knowing how stressed we were, he shared his personal number in case anything came up while he was away that might require his attention (nothing did, because his staff handled everything perfectly).

Believe me when I tell you, we're hoping NOT to move again anytime soon. If so, we know who gets that call. (6 Stars Google, at least! )
Thank you American Dream Movers!

Called on a Tuesday for a price to move that Friday and was told that would not be a problem. The crew showed up right on time and the were professional, courteous, and got right to work. When it was time to unload they were like a well oiled machine grabbing items and asking where they went, and they came in under budget. Highly recommend for a last minute move or one planned with plenty of time.

as a local guide in south jersey for many years I only leave a top review for the best of the best companies, this is the only moving company I would use in new jersey, tho I only moved a short distance away in my town they wrapped everything like it was going across the country, they treated my things like it was their own stuff, real professionals , the whole crew are gentlemen and they're so fast you won't believe it , I highly recommend these people , nice to see there's companies that still appreciate their customers 👍

Well, I was hunting around for somebody to move 1000 pound safe then I called around called around got the runaround and I ran into American Dream Movers so I called the owner. He got right back to me. I told him my problem. He said your problem is my problem. He went to tractor trailer supply I picked up my safe brought it to my house with professional install and make sure they didn’t mark up the floor no damage to safe. What a fantastic experience with this team. On time, officiant, trustworthy, careful, and very polite and outgoing. They had all the right equipment needed to move a very large sectional couch out of a narrow stairwell. Second time using this company and will definitely be using them again.
